Suki Seokyeong Kang’s solo exhibition “Willow Drum Oriole” at Leeum Museum of Art included several poems by contemporary Korean poets which were inspired by Kang’s work. I translated eight poems by Yoo Heekyung for the exhibition. You can listen to some of the translations via Leeum’s Instagram.
Visitors were able to listen to Korean and English recordings of the poems (read by Kang and musician Kevin Oh) on headphones as they walked around the exhibition.
